Axle question

I have a 300tdi axle to replace my very worn out whatever the hell axle I have.

The only trouble is the 300tdi axle is not left hand drive and the axle that I have now (on my LHD One Ten) has a 'Housing Swivel Pin' (item 1 in the diagram) that won't fit it.



I've noticed that the TD5's seems to have the arms for the stearing links on BOTH sides, going both forward and backwards, clearly so they are ready to be made RHD or LHD. What other ones do? I am searching on Ebay, and all to find a duff front axle (as I only need the big steel lumpy bit) and put it on the axle I have.

Any ideas on finding one?

Any suggestions welcome, I'm so close to finishing all the mechanical upgrades the car needs (for now)!!

td5 is the only one unless you buy another double armed swivel housing to fit your new axle

2.4/2.2 TDCi axles are also both-hand drive. All the brackets are there in both places.

thanks guys - i will search for td5 (puma right?) and TDCI as well.

@jamesmartin I've looked at buying one but they seem to be about £200+ so first step is to see if I can get one second hand.
