axle casing swap

mate as punched hole in his 88 defender 110 front axle casing.
its a 10 spline and the end caps have got short stub on them.
ive got a casing from 94 disco can we swap internals, swivels etc over into it?

yes ,but defenders built before 94 (300 tdi)had thinner radius arms ,compared to disco and rrc ,its only when 300 tdi came out in defender did they use same case as disco etc,large washers can be used to make up difference or disco radius arms fitted ,or someone may have already swapped them as case your swapping might not be original

have got the disco arms as well so will swap them as well.
