Axle/calliper query

I have a 1990 90 defender with single piston front calipers. I now have a 200tdi disco as a donor and want to fit the axles. Trouble is, the disco front axle has twin line double piston calipers. Can I just put a tee on the calipers or can I just fit my original calipers to the later axle?

I put original '85 calipers on a disco axle. Mounting bolts were different diameters so made up some bushes to press into the calipers to prevent movement on the axle.

My disco has t pieces inside the arches, basically both flexi pipes run Into the T then its 1 solid line back from there. You do get single feed callipers also as my dads disco has them fitted.
