Re-buildin me front axle.
New swivels, new CV joints, new discs, new wheel bearings.
Put the first side all back together, fitted the drive flange and ended up with this!
How the feck am I supposed to get the circlip on?
What have I done wrong?
Any ideas anyone PLEASE!

run a bolt in the end of the halfshaft and gently pull it out then you can slip the circlip on, i know this as i had the same problem.

Good luck

Gently pull it out?
I tried putting a long bolt in the end and tapping it outwards with a 4lb lump hammer to no effect.
I'm worried about pulling the CV joint off the end of the inner drive shaft if I pull too hard.

it's a PITA that Trewy, mine did the same thing!
All ah did was take the drive flange off, pulled the halfshaft out a bit, held the h/s, stuck the flange back on, stuck the circlip back on and then wiggled the lot back on;) :D

Well, I've done it.
Bit of a mystery really, because there's no way that half shaft was going to move, even after taking the drive flange back off and applying a 5lb slide hammer.
Took the hub back off, took the stub axle back off, pulled the drive shaft out and re-inserted it and it all went back together fine. On the second attempt, the end of the half shaft could be pulled out easily.
Must have been a burr or sommat snagging somwhere.
As Buster says PITA.

Thanks lads.
