I want to put an extra fuel tank underneath for veg oil conversion.
Has anyone done this?

Does anyone have one to sell?

Where would be the best place to fill it up?

Any ideas?

Also how do I know if fuel pump is Bosch? Cant see it on the pump anywhere

what's wrong with tipping veg oil in the original fuel tank? 300tdi's are fine on SVO. I'd avoid SVO that has anti-foaming agents though.

auxillery for start up, that's what is recomended, that's what I want to do

Use main fuel tank for VO and a jerry can sized one in the rear fold down seat recess for DERV . Nice and tidy , keeps the fuel lines running together making switchover system easier to route .

Other than that I have seen aux tanks fitted underneath , inside of the inner sill - get under and you will see what I mean .

People will tell you that SVO in the TDI will cause ring gumming and the idea of water or steam injection has been put forward to cure this . Do a search on here and look at the VO website/forum .
