Do you mean you have bought headlights with side lights built in?

I presume you're thinking of connecting the small bulb in parallel to the side light. My only thought is it will increase the current load on the main wires in the loom. ie below the point where you make the parallel connection. I would have thought another 5w wouldn't make much difference. However, I don't know what else is fed by those wires. Someone with more knowledge needed

I got them from paddocks. The first picture was wrong. I went out and checked and the box above^ is actualy what i got. They match the lens pattern what came off.Did you buy them from a UK seller? Send them back!

I thought that but they export all over the world. Im sure they are alright apart from the little pilot light.
