Aux Fuel Heater

Hello Chaps!

Got a 06 L322 TD6 Vogue SE... when I try to use the aux heater system from the remote there is a whiring sound from under the lhs of the bonnet and a flashing light on the console for about 10 - 15 secs then it switches off. Tried it at various temps down to 2 degrees and still the same.

Any advice please?

If it's a Webasto unit, the igniter may have failed or it may be a fuel supply problem.
