L322 Auto screen wipe

Iv never had this working on my 02 and so when the screen was replaced last week I bought a tested replacement sensor and tried that but still nothing!!. Connections are all made and seem good and the stalk is working on all settings. Fuse is the same for the rear washer and that works so anyone any ideas please!!

Do your wipers seat correctly? I've found in really strong wind, the wipers don't seat properly on the return, and the auto stops working.

Just a thought, how are you turning auto wipe on and off ?

Hopefully marksmen as in the manual move to intermittent and leave there. Tried before turning on ignition and after and neither works

Fault found it is hopefully a broken wire hid amongst the bunch sitting behind the mirror

Also, the sensor needs to be calibrated to the window....

It uses a sensor to measure the refraction of the glass...if it changes, there is rain....so it needs to be calibrated to a dry screen on fitment.
