I have replaced mine and all now seems ok.
The fault I was having was a random and intermitant "Gearbox Overheat refer to owners manual". But this was happening from cold most of the time.
Cleaned the blue connection to the right of the radiator with electrical cleaner, no change as the intermittant fault still popped up occasionally.
Checked over the fusebox, no sign of anything scary...
I changed the ATF and filter, all seemed ok then too, but the error came back yet again.
Measuring the continuity of the switch showed an open circuit and researching shows it should be closed when cold, open when it hits the desired temp. Removing the switch showed that giving it a shake would induce the fault, so at last I was convinced to buy a new one.
So far so good. Next job.......
