Auto Gearbox Oil

Hi All, Quick question.......
My OIl level on the Auto dip stick is on low..
Dipped when cold after putting it through all the gears, left in netral then dipped.
Big trip today can i use genral Auto gear box oil or is it a case of special Oils??

Any reasonable quality TQF should be ok.

it was check with engine running wasnt it???

Hope it was Gav, it would be seriously low if it wasn't.

yup, checked with engine running, after it was put through all the gears first, whilst the gear box was cold.

top it up then!!! with whatever it says in the manual for it!!! quick or yer might kill the box

can you have too much oil in, mines about an inch over the max line when cold
