Have you had any work done to it recently?
Is the gear lever loose as in it's become disconnected from the auto due to snapped cable or the mechanisum broke'd?
Does reverse work?
Have the 2x barrel connectors below come apart? They're located under the bonnet above the auto. Look down between the battery and headlight.
