Auto 3.9 into a 90

Hi everyone
Is it feasible to fit a 3.9 R/R engine & auto box into a 90 ,if it is possable would it be a matter of welding the mounts from the R/R to the 90 chassis , altering the trans cover , pedals ,exhuast,pipework ect ,or is a major operation ?.

Depends on what you consider a major operation, but you have pretty much covered the list.

If you are starting with a diesel 90, then you have to think about fuel plumbing. EFi will also need an in tank fuel pump.

Thank you for your reply Andy,thinking about what you said early 3.5 s seem to be reasonably priced at the moment could start with one of those & put in a disco rangy efi with auto.

You'll need to change boxes even if you are staying manual as the manual boxes are different between 4cyl and V8 engines.
