I would like to thank the owner and his 2 children, of a Defender, the one with a canoe/kayak on the roof, who tried to help push start my hired car around the car park to jump start it.
Unfortunately this was not easy when the temperature was around 40 degrees C and after numerous tries the Suzuki Swift wouldn't budge. Eventually the hire company sent out a mechanic who got it going in under 5 mins.
Again, my family and I cannot thank the Defender owner enough for his efforts and assistance.
PS The remainder of our holiday was trouble free!
