It's gonna be a ball ache for everyone/most people to get used to, but I think it'll be ok eventually

Hole they don't charge more for monthly like they charge more for 6 months currently as I think most people would do that, you might as well.

This bit sounds terrible --

Buying or selling a vehicle

When buying a used vehicle you will be able to use the V5C/2 - new keeper supplement to pay vehicle tax at a Post Office branch, along with the MOT certificate (if applicable) and fee. From 1 October 2014 you will also be able to pay vehicle tax using the V5C/2 online or by phone.
When selling a vehicle to a new vehicle keeper, the vehicle tax will no longer be transferable. Vehicle tax will end when a vehicle is sold and the new keeper will need to get the vehicle taxed immediately before the vehicle can be used.

How much messing about and having to fork out extra cash for the tax when buying a vehicle ... it was always good to buy a vehicle that had tax on it -- plus more money for the government AGAIN

I think its a stupid idea. What I was wondering is are they now going to refund weeks as opposed to months like now. Because if not then who will want to sell their car half way through the month knowing they will be loosing out on 2 weeks tax, then the new owner would have to tax from the beginning of said month.

Which would mean that the dvla have gained a months free money.....

Auf.
I like the idea of the Mezzanine to bolt yer fuses and relays onto.

How have you attached it to the car?

regards

Underneath the mezzanine, there are a couple of captive nuts in the inner wing. I've got some aluminium angle bolted to the inner wing. The mezzanine is pop riveted to the angle - although there's only one rivit showing in the photo.

Please could some kind person measure the length of the Discovery sticker under the number plate on the rear door. No rush - don't go out in the rain.

Thanks in advance.
