Added a black bottle opener to the sub in to boot.....

Like many of you, my door seals are shot but I'm struggling to justify £75 a pop for each new seal. Jumbo door seal from ebay - £4.84 a metre - bingo.

Took about an hour as I have to lift the floor plate to release the sill cover to release the seal. Need to Tiger Seal the join. Takes a two handed slam to close the door now!

Fixed my central locking - I must have got one of the solenoids out of sequence when I refitted them last year. Until today, when I blipped the car, the doors all unlocked apart from the NSF, when I locked the car, the NSF unlocked and had to be locked by the key - not anymore!!

The door inner membranes are long gone - torn, cracked and brittle! I can't find any good 2nd hand ones - do you think this will do the job?

No, didn't want to splash out on four if it didn't work. Fronts need 3.8ish metres so bought 4m. Rears slightly less. Good to have a few cm spare to practise the cuts.

Ah, but I didn't know that when I ordered it.

TBH, it was the details of the gripper which sold it to me, the jumbo was 20mm deep and the large was 17mm deep. It will settle in time. My old ones were completely compressed with no spring at all.

It was something like this - used it to keep a bit of engine noise out - God only knows if it works!
