Fixed the window ECU - been without rear windows for far too long. The recent hot weather meant that my daughter was getting too hot when sitting in the back.

It was a text book cracked joint. Removed, cleaned soldered and refitted. One hour door to door. The worst bit was the amount of extra wiring I'd put in front of the ECU.

I did mine a while back. Those little clips in the ecu are a fookin #### to pull out I found!

Enjoyed this thread, a lot of great work and ideas.

Was wondering if when it came to paint you considered using a Plasti-Dip coating?

I have read up on them recently and they give a great looking finish and looks easy enough may be on the £££ side though. Seems like a win win as you could just peel it off when you've had enough of that colour and change it! looks to be very popular in America but not so much over here yet.

Had a quick search on the site to see if anyone had done it as im not quite brave enough to be the first! haha

Dear kitestetico-uk,

Hi,

I was just wondering why you are using a photograph of my car, on my drive taken by me. The photograph is my intellectual property. Please remove the photo immediately otherwise I will report you to ebay and my solicitor.
