OK here we go, I have an 05 L322 Vogue, new amp installed and off to the main dealer to programme it....Fail...needed a phone module as it was removed even though a prism had been fitted......module fitted and still two land rover computers will not communicate with the vehicle....LR technicsl involved now and have told the dealer to find a donor vehicle and programme my amp in it and return to mine and see if it works!!!!. So much for main dealer and LR technical not being able to sort it. Any one have any ideas and can this system be ripped out and replaced with something decent???? Frustrated as this is my first RR and its been in the stealers for a week to get the damned radio working !!!! HELP:mad:

:welcome2:

That is unfortunately what Range Rover ownership is about.....frustration, frustration, frustration......

Main dealers when it comes to older vehicles are not so geared up or keen to really get stuck in...they'd prefer to sell you a new L405 Range Rover!!!

Try a decent indy who will treat you better, stick your location down in your profile we may be able to point you at one!

As for ripping it out....not really an option unless you are a talented electrician....if yours has the Touchscreen Nav system, this and the rest of the media system in the car runs on a Fibre optic MOST based system which ties a lot of other systems into it....could be a nightmare...but with patience and research no doubt could be done!

Apologies for the no please!!!!! Just frustrated at the minute. I am over in Northern Ireland.

Not my neck of the woods, but we have a good few members from there who should be able to give a decent indy for you!

Hate to point newbies to another forum, but fullfatrr.com - Index are very much more into modifying the L322 and upgrading etc....search for posts by a member called Joe90 he is very clued up on the L322 infotainment system....heck he rpped his out and built a PC that runs on the screen with some great results!

Yup, they get you that way, as Saint said Stealers are a waste of time. They want quick turn rounds for top dollar. Look around for an independent, a more precise location may bring recommendations from members. Good luck, electrics are not my bag.:D
