I have been contemplating the body kits on eBay and Range Over for some time now and I'm still in a quandary as the best course of action.
Reason being that personally I'd rather have official metal panels from LR than GRP ones which in my mind would be stronger and provide more protection in the event of an accident and shouldn't effect the insurance of the vehicle.
My question is, that my independent garage near me that provides Dakar conversions, informs me that the chassis and so forth is extremely close to the L322 in many respects and wondered if it's possible to attach the side panels and bumper to a P38?
If its slightly out, would it be possible to modify these to fit?
I'm hoping someone on here being a Range Rover mechanic with experience of both would be able to tell me?
