Disco 2 ATC UNIT

Hi all, I picked up a 'wood effect' ATC unit today & just wondered if they are all the same ?
The one I got today, see pic is p/no. JFC102350 & the original one is in JFC000170. I know both these no's have superceded so, providing the 'new' one is OK will it work?

Thanks for that, I did plug it in about 30 mins ago (didn't run the engine) & the blower,temp scale & flap operations are ok but the illumination in the switches didn't work so I just swapped the bulbs from my original unit to fix that problem. I'll take it for a spin tomorrow & check the heater/air con side.

Just to let you know the 'later' unit works perfectly.
