I have found a Air Spring Strut for £199 +£6.99 PP so £205.

My question is, does anyone know if they have heard that the air line/pipe/connector at the top of the strut will not fit properly.

I have been told it never fits. Surely if Dunlop make them and they don't fit they wouldn't sell them. They must fit right. Any ideas / answers would help

The item for sale is an RNB000750 Left Hand (Passenger Side / Near-Side) Front Air Suspension Spring / Strut Assembly. Fits all Range Rover L322 4.4 V8 Petrol Models from 2002 to the end of 2006. (to chassis number 6A999999).

Brand: Dunlop Original Equipment

Install or Not Install ?

£60 ?! Lol

:D

I agree, £60 quid is good: depressurise the system, remove the wheel, fit and torque to spec (it's awkward to fit without another person to hold it in place), reset fault codes, make sure it goes up etc.

Land Rover guy turned up last night and said two front struts. Order my Dunlop ones just now.
Bit confused as to why the elevation is not going into off-road mode and low-ride mode at the back if the front is the problem. The elevation wont complete either way when I
"twist my knob" up or down, so I set it to the middle again and the pump shuts up. Landy guy said the pump was getting warm or hot, probably because its trying to correct its self.
The back drivers side is high I wouldn't say it in off-road mode but almost and the back passenger side is kinda normal middle height to low. Does that smell like a sensor ride height thingy, Or because while having all of these problems the system has bugged out and got its knickers in a twist, because of the articulation fault can bus fault suspension inactive and it went into safe mode. the other day while sitting in the drive. All faults cleared. Is it that the whole system needs re calibrating after struts on.

Its just strange that the back drivers side does not alter ATM, even though I here a woosh on front struts with air from pump working.

Yes and 60 quid I just re iterated the cost with the guy.

Any Idea's

Rich

The rear of the car will try and level out if there's a problem with the front end, and in some cases the rear completely drops to a low level

Since yours struts are fecked no doubt the suspension is playing up

Disconnect the compressor before it burns itself out whilst trying to pump the blown struts up !

You'll need diagnostics to reset the hard faults too

Good luck !
