Arthur Goddard

Maybe this post should have appeared in News & Announcements, but I thought it more likely to be noticed here.
Arthur Goddard, who led the creation of the original Land Rover & it's development until the mid '50's has passed away at the grand old age of 101.
What would he thought of JLR's ghastly creations today I wonder

RIP Arthur & condolences to his family.

101 years thats some going that, definitely left his mark condolences to all his family and friends

It was fitting that he made it to 101, though 107,109 or even 110 would have been even better

Arthur was interested to see later vehicles and curious to see how lr would replace the tratter. He liked the new one.
