Hi

quick question

before i go and buy a new lambda sensor for for Freelander v6 ,Does the 1.8 Freelander use the same one?

only asking as i have one in my classic mini as am running a 1.8vvc kseries in that ,so if same could test with that one

An O2 sensor is an O2 sensor. Most use the same thread size. Provided it uses the same number and colour of wires (Rover generally use 4) the plug is the same with the correct colours in the same sequence. Then yes it should work ok.
The V6 uses 4 wires. Two are white (heater) one is grey (O2 signal) and one black (earth).
I can't remember what my VVC uses but I can check tomorrow.

How does a mini go with a 1.8K series? Hope it has a good roll cage.

standard upgrade to a racing mini was a breathed on 1600.
I saw an MG midget with auto box and a V6 in it once.

But the best was a 5.3 litre chevy engine in a ford pop. the guy driving it overtook a porsche at 145 mph ...

mine has a FIA full race cage fitted ,and it needs it ,the whole car is only just over 500kg so with the vvc in her she def shifts
