are series 2 and 3 roofs interchangeable?

Hi All
I tried to search to find this out and think they are but thought Id ask to be sure - Are there series 2 and 3 hard tops interchangeable? I have a series 2a with truck top on at the moment and want to fit a station wagon roof and have found series 3 roof

Mine did, although I went from a 2A to a 3 with no problems!

roof, side pannels,seat boxes,wings,front grille pannel,bonnet,door tops and rear door all interchangeable

Don't forget engine, gearbox, bulkhead and chassis are also interchangeable too!!

In fact I've even heard that you can pinch the tax exempt status of a series 2 and fit it onto a series 3.

Very naughty that though!!!
