A friend said he'll change the engine with me and he asked is it same engine he meant 10p and 15p they are both 10p
But will a discovery engine just plug in straight or will I have to interchange the parts a little?

If both are the same type 10P it's straight swap but the new injector codes must be saved in the ECU as the engine to run at 100% capacity

The codes a on the top of the solenoid and dedicated tester is needed to save them in the ECU memory

You dont need a specialist find somebody near you with nanocom or hawkeye who know to use it, it takes few minutes, something like this with the difference that if the injectors are changed the codes must be inserted manually from the touchpad not saved from the ECU's memory

Hi there,
I've just swapped engines between two Td5s and am in South Wales near to Bridgend so any advice that I can help with give me a shout. I have the "Lynx" diagnostic and have recoded the injectors a number of times.
Best of luck with the job,
