Arctic Trip in about 7 weeks, help please!?

Was in Tromso, in feb this year but there was no northern lights to be seen anywhere. All depends on the sun and how active the old bugger is. NASA has some very good info about activitity on the sun with up to date info.

Beg to differ on that one, Hoga Kuste is absolutely beautiful and the area around Lake Siljan (suppose that's more middle than north though) is probably one of my favourite places.
