Hello, I am hoping to move my Series 3 to Devon sometime soon and I put it on bidding websites anyvan and shiply. Companies have placed bids on my landy but I just wanted to see if anyone on here has ever used anyvan or shiply before? If so how did you get on. Cheers.

Look in courier section- kris300tdi or PM ratty as his boss can do return run recoveries cheap-basically they recover one way and pick yours up instead of running empty.

I used Shipley
The subby collected my van from Liverpool area to bring it down to Basingstoke.

Collected it on a trailer attached to a Transit, so it was overloaded, got it on to the nearest motorway amnd then broke down at the first service station.
He then decided to offload my Disco and call the AA to get him back to Scotland.
if it wasnt for J the Ranges help, it would still be there

I wouldnt touch them with a bargepole.

I used Shiply three times in the past to collect vehicles very far away from me. I used reputable companies with lots of feedback who collected my car along with others on a large car transporter unit. Never had a problem.

All i can say is that the shiply fee used to be about 7 pounds. Its now 30 or even 40 pounds. which means on top of the quote you have had it will be another 40 pounds. Since they raised their prices i haven't used them as im not paying shiply 40 pounds per car for the service they provide.

Cheers for your help guys, a friend of mine has offered to take it on his trailer heading to pick up an old Fergie tractor near where I need to drop it off, never travel empty. Job sorted!
