...that my friend is the portable love nest for me and the girlfriend (oops the wife ...i 4got i married her) Actually it's excellent, a full double bed with a matress to die for -125mm thick (or 5" in old money) But the best is it only takes 60 seconds to wind up. The whole camp site with gazebo, wind breaks etc takes less than ten mins to create ...wicked especially when you sit back with a cold glass of something from the fridge watching other campers struggling with poles and strings.

you'd die for a mattress?? i think you need help! i spent several years in various places dressed in exciting shades of green and black and i can honestly say i never once thought of any thing like a mattress being worthy of dying for.birty1 said:

Sooner lay in my fixed bed in the caravan with the warm air heating gently blowing and watching damp mouldy weirdos in canvas trying to look like they are enjoying it.

How times have changed, modern day camping is not like it used to be (thanks goodness) Canvas has been replaced with nylon, no more the drafty tents, all is now sealed, we too enjoy the heat of a tent heater and living quarters. And as technology advances we now have LCD TV and DVD powered from the sun and a fridge freezer ...and a toilet/shower ( A Hot Hot shower)

...yes still on about camping! but the joy is we can do all of this on a beach or mountain top ...where you can't get a caravan!

Absolutely right, can they stick it where the sun don't shine? No! ...ours go on the Mezzanine in the garage!!! no its on the drive!!! collecting dirt and mould.

and....and........whenits pouring down with rain, i just get stright in c/van and put the kettle on.
and...........and...........a vehicle on the road is a vehicle on the road, wether its a 90 with camping gear or a c/van or an artic.

...it's all about application, see it's always the same mobile home, you will always have the hob in the same place, the decorations in the same place .. the yawning (oooooooofffffff!) containing the same stuff??? campings changed (well to guys like me coz I want all the home comforts) hence the difference with Landie boyes who strive for the next step (did you follow the link I gave eariler?)....but the bread on the roof sounds great ...I'll use that next season
