Anyone used this stuff to line their bed ?

If it's anything like Rhinoliner it will be brilliant.

I've been looking for a good heavy duty rubberised underseal to do the underside of my tub once I fit the new floor and supports - this is a little much just for a good underseal but tempting.

I used bitumen paint in several layers applied over a few weeks with the top 2 layers having sand mixed in... It's early days yet but now it's dried properly (according to the tin it takes up to 7 days to harden) it seems spot on... I only used one tin which cost £10 and I....er... Borrowed the sand from the kids so I didn't cost to much!

Bought some to use on the inside of lockers in an old boat some years ago. It's very good and very easy to use (they will sell you a specific paint roller to ease things - needs to be foam not fibre).

On the boat I sealed everything first with the recommended 2-part epoxy primer, but you might get away without doing this on a load bed. The issue is getting a very good key as otherwise the whole thing will lift off (this is why I used a primer as it sticks to anything and I wasn't sure about damp residue on wood).

Coverage pretty well what they say - although it depends on the thickness you build up. It also repairs to itself, which is useful (though also fades a little with UV, so you will see the repair).

Very sorry - only addressed half the question.

Looking at the link I wouldn't buy the kit - it's nearly double the price of a 4 litre can (and I reckon you probably only need 2 litres anyway). Buy the paint and then get your rollers separately. You could get away with doing the whole job for less than £70.

Cool. Thats pretty much the conclusion that I had come to. If I really rough up the surface with sand paper I think it should be ok ? What sort of primer did you use on your application ? I will report back on the outcome.

Cheers !!

i used some anti slip paint on the imside od my 90, i just roughed the surafce up and painted it on. i'll look it up when home as it was 1/2 the price of the kits
