Right as some of you know i,m after a 110 as the 90 just isnt big enough for my needs

Question is has anybody used MRM Landrovers in the past 12/24 months?

One of the old threads HERE memebers had issues but i dont know if its in relation to The Country and Defender Centre or Mrm.

Looking at driving down to have a look at a 110 but if folk have had an experence and it was cack i'll save ma sell the journey!

Hello,
I am very interested to know as well. There are several negative posts on the different forums about him from back in 06-08. Seems to be the same three or four people spreading the word as loud as they can. I can't find anything negative in the last several years.

He seems to have a good inventory. Prices are high for the exportable ones....

Good luck, let us know if you head down there.

I ventured down on Saturday just gone and had a look at one of his 110 300tdi,s. I looked for reveiws also but not much came up.

I went and met with him (matt) and had a chat. I then put on some coveralls and he left me to it for the next hour letting me check the vehicle thoroughly and test everything.

We chatted some more an i left, been mulling over it since. I,ve decided to buy the 110 and hes,s going to Re-mot before i collect.

He seems very genuine and his stock of vehicles is outstanding albeit a little expensive. I,ve looked at many rovers since october but his collection were by far the best....... I,d rather spend a little more on a rover in better nick than a bit of a pig, which i,d end up spending loads of fixing up anyhow!

Looking at collection on saturday, so i,ll keep you posted, good luck in your search!

I purchased a 110 from MRM. Mat was great to deal with. I think he's gotten better over the years. Seems earlier posts/reviews aren't favorable.

The deefer wasn't as bad as I had anticipated. When I told him of some issues, he remedied them for me.

You've got to do your homework and ask a LOT of questions.

Well, I did buy from MRM (thanks for the help Vinnie & Jabber). 110 arrives next week, I'll let you know how she comes out.

hey buddy, on his website, i am looking at the black 2002 td5 110 double cab, went and viewed it yesterday and it seemed in great condition, almost to good to be true, underneath was spotless, ran fine, seems like he has had it for a while as there was a fair emount of dust on it, its ment to be a LE 110, but i have done a bit of research and some ppl say different things,

Sorry mate was busy wea work. I bought a 110 csw 300tdi off Mat back in January, again it looked fantastic and was coverd in dust. I had loads of time to poke round and play with no interferrance. My issue was that my vehicle had no paper work whatsoever. By this point i wanted the rover to much and should maybe of seen warning signs. I think my engine may have been clocked as its running rough now and i think the psiton seals have gone. So of the workmanship is questionable (dont know if thats his lads or the previous owner).

Go back and dig some more but look beyond the shinny paint work and wheels. I also have issue with my gearbox now, (i,ve only put 3000 miles on her. So for what hes asking you should really have all the paperwork and recipts. I did some research into his company and he has upset folk in the past, i though he was allright but if your a weaker individual i think he could walk over somone.

edit....my rover is a 110 csw 12 seater but on 2 sites it was comming up as a van or pannel truck.....do your homework!
