Hi is anyone selling a bmw mk4 dvd sat nav system. ??? or know anywhere i can get one from at a good price??.

Ive looked on ebay but there all around £400 - £500 and i just don't have that much to spend, as my MOT and rd tax is all up for renewal today.

I need one for my 2002 range rover as my mk3 system has stopped working (think i may have a water leek) so fort i might as well upgrade to the mk4.

If anyone is selling one or know anywhere i can get them from at a good price please let me know thanks ;)

yes but am upgrading it to the bmw dvd one, its just a case of plugging the old one out and plugging in the dvd one....

Before you go down that route I had a problem with my Mk3 sat nav on a 2002 L322 see my previous posts for a description of what was happening. Like you I was pondering the cost of the up grade and thought sod it its to expensive I will have a go at fixing the problem. Anyway I removed the CD drive ingored the warranty sticker as it was knackered anyway and dismantled the box, inside the lower pc board was covered in corrosion either from water or just general damp so I got to work cleaning it off with a phospere bronze brush and a hover to make sure there were no burrs anywere put it all back together plugged it in and now its worked perfectly ever since :) its worth a try before you spend £500 :D
