Anyone recommend Altenator for 200tdi Disco?

Recentley found my Alternator is just a bit cooked. Think its just the standed Lucas one (A127 65amp? bit thick on these things so please correct me if I'm wrong!) But I've just been bought a set of roof lights and a couple of spots for the front (well it was my birthday!) an some one suggested I could possably fit a more powerfull Alternator?

Any advise folks?

west mids 4x4 do a second alternator mount if your intersted

but if its just a few lights there really isnt any need for anything other than the standard
if you had a winch/fridge/gps etc then maybe twin batterys would be a better idea

Kinda thinking to get another one then strip this one down and have a look whats wrong because I aint got the time to do it now and then I have a spare or at least one to lose in that "somewhere safe place" I seem to put everything!

Thanks again bud, Alternator done for £45. Chucked em a bit extra cash to change it for me. I know the last 12yrs of it history (Dad had it before me!) and know that alternator had been on there that long so figured it might not come off too easy.... the look on the blokes face told me I was right!
