For anyone that was interested....and yes I know this was ages ago :D

It stayed where it was for at least 3 months, then randomly disappeared one day. Found out a couple of weeks ago what the hell is going on, as the same happened when a couple of Merc Sprinters appeared for 3 months and then suddenly disappeared....

Apparently one of the guys down the road buys these cars/vans, keeps them there for a while, then sends them over to somewhere in Africa...it wouldn't surprise me if that 130 is actually on an airport somewhere now, and apparently the pair of Sprinters were being sent over to be used as school buses for kids...

Mystery solved

Thats me job for the morning....two airports local ish...I'll keep you posted.

I did think that an M-reg one probably wouldn't be in active service in an airport but it is a landy!

I work on an airport, we have an f plate 110 still in service, we also have a few ex northern Island riot trucks, 90's with all the armour on just parked up by the police in case, they must weight a lot looking at them, d platers, police say they will be scrapped soon

I work for a fleet car company and British waterways and the coastguard love these all girls some of theirs are older than this one.

Any looks real good nick to me. If it was mine i wouldn't leave it hanging around

yep, me mate gets to drive it occasionally, he doesnt like it, he aint a fender fan, he usually goes for the faster jap thing they have.

Mind you, after some of the chats recently, I think I might too he works on the radar/landing equipment side of things, theres sometimes get a 60 second warning in which to pack tools at get off the runway to a safe place. its rare they actually shut the runway for maintenance.

Don't fancy playing with their leccy either, landing lights, constant CURRENT tranny, 6.6A, and they work live  or the radar that can toast yer nads if your in just the wrong place.

Haha 60 seconds to get a hammer out and hit the starter whilst shorting it with a screw driver.
