Anyone local to glasgow?

Hi all, just bought my first Disco. Its had a bump on the drivers side so needs a few bits replacing.

I am looking for someone close to Glasgow to give me some info on where to gets parts and friendly breakers to use etc.

Can anyone help me out?

The parts that are damaged are the slam panel, Full inner wing panel & wing.

Ideally looking for 2nd hand as my budget is not huge

John there's a scrap yard on the road out of Balloch on the Drymen road can't remember it's name but they quite often have landrovers getting broken.

What age of disco did you buy?

Welcome to the forum, I've never managed to find a dedicated Land Rover scrap yard around the Glasgow area, however it might be worth giving

Used LR Parts

a call, they have loads of old Discos lying in the yard and might sell you what you're looking for

Yeah that's the one.
Also been looking for a good scrap yard that holds stock of old rotten discos but there's not one in this area.

Reason being is because Discos don't rot and last forever!

Only the ones we save last forever lol and that's why I am after another mot failed 300tdi

Will give that a try to thanks.

Its a 1996 2.5tdi (what ever model that is?) Only gave £590 for it MOTd till may 180k, not a perfect example but will do me for my purpose. Picked it up in Fort William on New years eve. Will post some photos up tomorrow in the light when i strip it fully down.

300 - Just gave away a full Land Rover manual for that model and struggled to get someone to take it!
Might still have a few bits, that didn't get binned, you're more than welcome to them.
