Hi Guys,

Was planning on changing my brakes but got stuck as I didn't realise you need a tool/socket for the nut.

Anyone have one I can borrow?

there only about £5 new, and you don't NEED a spanner, you can yeehaa the sh!t out of it using small chisel and hammer and knock it round.

Im not really local I live in Norwich but you can have mine for a tenna + petrol to deliver it to you...?
I drive a 4.0 V8, is that okay chap?;):D

Bermach pre td5 hub nut tool £5 or £11 for socket of ebay

had a look online and found what I needed. I thought of using an adjustable/chisel and hammer but i guessed bearings would be just behind and getting the torque right is key to long bearing life so left it for another day.

I just wanted to avoid buying another massive socket which i'll never use. the last one I bought cost me £30 and was for a flywheel nut on a car i ended up selling shortly after. Will probably never get used again.

I'll just buy one if nobody local can loan one for a day.

You haven't had it long have you? If your going laning etc you will need it again and again. And you don't torque them. Inside nut you will get done with large pipe grips. Just take out the slack. The outer one. Hammer and chisel. Just needs to be "F.T"

You only need the hub nuts off if you are changing the discs. Certainly the series hub spanners are only a few quid.
