Anyone laning in county durham?

Howdo was just wondering if any of you greenlane in county durham I could tag along with. Got a couple in my area (Weardale) but getting bored of them and would like to try some more but dont want to go on my own due to the obvious risk of being stranded on a fell somewhere lol. Always more enjoyable with others too.

no green laning bit to slow for me but theres some good free sites around the north east with no rules except the dont get caught rule its not too bad police are more interested in the motox bikes and its just dissused land ie ex pits or steel works but if ya fancy them ill let ya know some ive used before

If yu wanna go trespassing and causing criminal damage and risk having your landy crushed ,then that's upto you. but don't advertise it on here and don't use it to try and recruit other members to come with you.

If there is anyone going greenlaning in the durham area and dosent mind a complete novice in a 2a coming along when its working. I would love the day out. I have just bought the old girl and love to see her out and about in the scenery she was designed to be driven in. Dont want her taken off me though so must be legal.

discoball I see you have a panda 4x4. when i left school worked at warden law as a mechanic for the go carts and saw one **** all over a shogun on the off road section at the back. awsome little cars.

If anyone is out and about and doesn't mind a couple of novices along for the ride we'd be interested.

well if anyone fancies sorting a north east loony zone outing ill be up for it probably weird dale off road will be the best bet i costs a few quid but theres somet for all abilities and is on twice a month i think

Do they still do the pay and play days?

They have been on hold for a while and the updated website doesn't mention them only the 4x4 experience in one of their defenders.

Not sure what they offering now haven't been up there for about 2 years, will try and find out though as its only 8 mile down the road from me.

well if not weird dale then how bout murton i think its bout 15 quid to go on pay and play but to be honest its too small for the more adventurous people

well not quite pay and play more join the club play for the day or do trials and get a monthly news letter

whats the club called karlos. need to get meself into a local club somewhere! are there any decent landy/4x4/classic (its a 64 series 2a gotta fit in somewhere) clubs that anyones a member of? land rover has been stranded on the drive for a week and i've only owned it for 2. need to get it sorted and out in the mud.

the club is north east 4x4 i was a member many years ago and they were a very friendly bunch didnt look down on me cos i was young and only had a vitara only stopped going cos of work comitments may even consider re joining if spare time allows
