It wasnt biofue. We get loads of trucks in with contaminated fuel they have to be drained but another landy driver in my work runs the contaminated fuel so i started doing it cause its free derv... got 5 full tanks free... filled it a 6th time and my injector pump is now ####ed... sent it and the injectors off to be refurbed so it will probably end up costing the same as diesel from a garage

my earlier comment of taking the pee went unoticed..

however, my pee is used as an excellent magical ingredient in my compost bin.
you can have nice green weed and grass in it, but a day after emptying some carefully saved pee on the top of it, it has began to break down the green stuff...

just saying - taking the pee can be useful at times...

Why didn't I see this post earlier. Adblue is very good at corroding copper from wiring and no doubt other metals. I can't remember the exact figure but it moves up a wire at a rate of about 1 foot an hour on a live circuit. The only thing you can do Is cut it off and rewire it. I have heard horror story's of Adblue spilling onto a connector block and the driver didn't notice. By the time the issues had started the Adblue had travelled too far and the bus had to come in for a whole re-wire

As far as using diesel with it in, why do you think you drained it out in the first place? An expensive mistake that I doubt you will make again

Fuel pump recon ive been quoted around 100 injectors if they have seized about 30 each... so not too bad but ill not be running contaminated fuel again haha

Depends if the damage is due to corrosion,if that is the case both pump and injectors might be non seviceable

Adblue freezes at 10 degrees. We have heaters in the Adblue tanks of the machines we run to prevent freezing. The machines also pumps the Adblue back out of the lines because it crystalises and causes blockages. It has to be kept in plastic or stainless containers because ferrous metal (ie steel) actually speeds up the crystalisation process so while the engine might run, there is no telling what it's doing to the fine drillings in your injection pump and also the injector nozzles and fuel filters. Steer well clear IMO.
