Anyone know any good places to get good wheels and tyres cheap?

Hello!

I am looking to get a whole new set of wheels for my defender 90. Either alloys or steels with the choice of a rangeof tyres from standard to some beasty ones

Does anyone know any good sites?

I am looking for as cheap as possible, any advice greatly appreciated!

lol, there are still so few on auction sites and usually always pickup only from a million miles from where I live, but that lr mail order site isn't bad

pays your money takes your choice, mine local job, but they are cheap on that site

also another good one i always use is paddock spares. you can get a steel rim for around £30 up and then a tyre for around £60 up. So I could get a brand new set of 4 tyres and 4 steels for around £400 which isn't too bad I guess

i use paddocks too, they have some good offers on now and again,

I used ebay and got a full set 5 of alloys no tyres so could see there condition £50 and then a set 5 tyres for £280 fitting was £8 a wheel and £20 for alloy nuts.

So £78 per wheel fitted and they look the muts nuts! They are remoulds and copys of Insaturbo/Simex jobbies but so far I have been more than happy.

Oh forgot the £20 for locking nuts.
