Hi Guys,

This is my first post here and I'm keen to hear from anyone that has installed a Pedal Box (PedalBox tuning throttle remapping response) on their 2010 onwards Range Rover Sport TDV6 3.0 Turbo Diesel.

I absolutely love this car specially in the face lifted and new engines guise but find the throttle response very dull. It's not the turbo lag that I'm talking about but simply reacting to a ligher touch of my foot.

Its not in any off road mode, just straight forward day to day driving. I took it to the dealer who agreed that a slow response is there and even got me to drive another RRS, which has the same issue.

I suppose its normal then, the car is powerful enough for me and when you put the foot down it just goes but its the inital slowness of the crawl that I find boring.

Would be great to hear from anyone that has tried the pedal box, from what I'm reading on their website, it looks good.

Thanks

it is still a land rover underneath you know, and a diesel one at that.

dont bother introducing yourself, just get the butler to pop along later and do it, or maybe one of yo hoes could if she isnt to out of it on your product to do such a thing. right thats all the stereotypes out of the way, so no sorry not a clue in response to your question im afraid.

go for it i chipped my p38 dse and it improved the throttle response no end also seems to have reduced pedal travel.
to me has nothing to do with wanting a sportscar or to make it fast but everything to do with improving driveability and enjoyment!

Thanks Nathan, this is exactly what I mean. Its not a sports car I'm after but the normal response you should get from a turbo charged 3 litre diesel. I've driven the same enginer in a Jaguar XJ and that is more responsive so it probably does have something to do with it being an off roader. However for everyday town driving it would be nicer to push things along a little.
