Anyone in Tayside or Fife who can help me?

Just wondering if there was anyone in Tayside / Fife with a Range Rover P38 who has an ELM327 Interface that would be willing to test it on mine?

I have bought one of these devices and to date not managed to get it to 'talk' properly with my car. Before I throw my dummy out of the pram I'd like to prove or other wise that it works (or doesn't).

Or of I can test mine on their car.

Can one help?

You got a mate with a petrol ford you could plug it in to, if its younger than 2000 chances are it will work. Told you mine dont like my dse, got my mates 97 dse here at the mo for new oil cooler when I,ve fixed it I,ll plug it in but I,m not expecting it to work on his either, it just seems to like petrols.
