anyone in northampton????

hi all sorted my gearbox problem with a new battery thanks for the advice but am struggling to find out why its running so rich i think maybe the 02 sensor faulty or the maf i removed the 02 sensor and cleaned them up as were extremly coked up which is understandable how rich its running and when i say rich i mean its done approx 30 miles on £80 of fuel so wonderd if anyone local to northampton had a spare maf i could borrow for an hour to eliminate that as the fault or not if anyone has any other ideas on possible fault pls let me know ive had the codes read and showing no faults on there but is defo running terrible thanks in advance

you have a spare maf forsale or one i could borrow for a couple of hours to take and try on mine as would cost me £100 in the range at the min lol

get it started then disconect the maf it will then run on back up settings..... go for a drive and it should run and be more economic.... that should prove it.

If you are running rich it would show up on the rading the fault codes [ mine did ] mine was running rich on the B bank, wont switch to lean, new O2 sensor needed, the fault reader SHOULD have picked that up... what diagnostic equipment did you use ?

i used a snap on solus pro and it did show that the 02 sensor were not switching and when removed them they were well coked up just thought if the maf was at fault may have been the original fault and caused the sensor to fail
