:D Cheeky maybe but does anyone from up round me fancy welding me in a new boot and boot crossmember. If it was just a bit of patching i'd teach mesen and gi it a go but it's the whole floor round the edge plus the rear most crossmember.
I'd sort ya out plenty of beer tokens of course.

how much do ya wanna pay ?
are you stripping the interior carpets/panels out ?
are you suppling the floor panel ?
how far do you want to go with the finnishing paint work ?
the side bits and cross members are easy enough to sort out :)

Been looking through some threads and it seems simple enough even the side pieces, so if worst comes to worst i'll gi it a shot.
If someone wants to do it i'll strip it out ready, supply all the bits and finish it afterwards. It'd just litteraly be the welding and maybe a bit of preping the edges to be welded.
As on price aint got a clue. Dont know how long it'd take so dont k now how much it's worth to someone.

EDIT: Just seen ya pics and realised its your pics i been looking at from a thread at start of jan, some nice work.

Well ya know us Yorkshire lads are tight as arseholes so hows a tenner and a 4 pack of larger sound:D

Nah in all seriousness if it were gona cost more than £150-£200 its prob worth me getting a welder and teaching myself as no doubt my sills will be going before too long.
Actually thats a point, need to get them plastic sill covers off and have a proper look, looks solid enough but ya never know what they're hiding.

So there's a ballpark figure for ya, so let me know if i'm taking the **** or not.

if you strip out the rear seats, the two boot seats and panels so ive got a clear run at it then £150 will get it sorted out for you. the cross bearers and side repair bits i have fabricated at a local steel place, they cost about £20 for the lot.

when will you want it doing ? i reckon a day will see it done if you are sorting out the repainting of it.
pm me if that is ok for you and i can give you me phone number :)

150£ sounds good and no doubt your be able to trust him rather than a garage.

You could buy a welder for about £100 second hand that would be up to the job. just have to learn how to use it?

Aye think we've got a deal. Damn sight better than anyone near me will do it for and i been looking at some of his work and it looks spot on.
Dont think i'd trust it if i'd ave done it mesen, would of forever been thinking it was gona give way:eek::D

yea he can trust me :)
i just bought a sheet of grey card board and a pot of evostick glue. when he aint looking im gonna do a real good blue peter job but with out the sticky backed plastic ;)

when its painted and the carpet is back in he wont ever know the floor bearers are card and the whole job lot is glued in with the evo stick :D
