drolic is the only way
thass wot i thort, and thass wot i'm savin for ... think the milemarker with the pump on the AC slot is the way to go - anyone???
if you want a winch bumper and winch hold out check your local ad mags and get you mates to listen out i picked a superwinch x9 and bumper with the 6 mounting points for £150 and its got me out the poo loads of times
lectric n water dunt mix, all the leccy boys will tell you "mine has been fine since i got it 12 months ago" - but if you dont maintain them well and change seals etc they will go bang just when your up to yer arches in mud n water and the tide is coming in - one of my trifors is nearly 15 years old and might have seen the grease gun twice
pto types are good, big lumps of metal turning, brother has one on the 90 and it just doesnt stop - also very reliable but very nickable
throw a old coat over yer trifor in the back and it's hidden
If you had the choice of pto and hydraulic, what would you go for and why?
I guess that's why PTO winches are far more common on fleabay then and likely to be a bit iffy, but i must say i do like the look of those alfred murray hydraulic kits. I agree about simplicity of manual power as well ... we'll see! Had kind of set my heart on the hydraulic ones, not so sure now.
