Anyone else's hose gone soft ???

I've noticed that some of my coolant hoses are starting to swell and have become soft I think it's age related (no puns about Viagra in me tank please) particularly from the rear of the engine into the cabin heater matrix.
Do any of you esteemed forum members know of a supplier of more resilient silicon type hoses that will replace them (having the correct OEM fittings on ??)

I have to be fair and say the ones i bought off Brit Part are working fine. I know they are a little hit and miss but not all their stuff is bad

I use Brit car and usually opt for genuine but this is the second set (in 7 years that are weakening) hence looking for a better replacement

Agree that brit part are not as bad as painted in some cases

I agree mate , have you looked at any specialist online hose suppliers?
Bet there are some out there for the high performance cars and so on
JS Performance is one if i remember correctly, my mate used them for his petrol head funny fuel cars

I am sure there will be others mate, shame as I remember my friend always praising them for quality stuff.

You could try www.autosiliconehoses.com they do all sorts of silicone hose.

Only because they don't have bearing or moving parts.

neither do brit parts, they are normally seized or not in there
