Anyone done the brake line? (rear)
Have a leak in my line, all I can see at the moment is that its the brake line that sits on top of the chassis (part number ANL 4702) and costs £200 for the set!! while I was asking him about the part, I did have a look at the parts pic on his screen, and I could see the connectors, so it looks like a strait bit of pipe coming out of the bulkhead from the ABS, so what I need to =know is this, is the connector inside the engine bay, or on the other side of the bulk head, so I can just get away with unscrewing it and the other end near the wheel arch and get away with a relativity easy job or not? and advice please?

don't know about p38s, but is it not just standard copper/cupro brake line?

if it is, then it's simple to make up a section.. you can buy the bits, ask a garage or probably on ebay. :)

Made from cupro nickel, but I just wanted to know where the joint was... before or after the bulkhead

Hi Dopey....did mine a few years ago here is a link to my forum post at the time

The connector(s) are located on top of the chassis rail behind the front r.h.wheelarch protector. After removing the protector you will be able to see them. The brake line from the connectors to the ABS valve block under the bonnet rarely corrode so it is unlikely these will need replacing.
Good Luck Bud
John:)
