Anyone able to help with clutch plate issue?

It never rains, it pours. After solving one Landy 90 issue I get another. Could be worse...

I was informed by the friendly RAC bloke that the 1987 90 needed a new clutch plate (noticeable by the smell of caustic burning plastic etc?) as the old ones were cream crackered.

Is there anyone in the wider Diss (norfolk/Suffolk border) area who can help me repair it or, for a price do it for me? I'm trying to avoid the higher garage costs if possible.

Smell aside it revs well but won't move in gear (whatever you lock it into).
