Been tinkering with a 1955 s1 for a while and eventually stuck it in the local garage for an MOT. Failed as anticipated mainly on front axel...bearings etc. Although I have a garage to store it in, it's not wide enough to work on it and has no power or lighting - not good at this time of year! To save it from languishing in the garage until spring next year, can anyone recommend a mechanic or garage (or just someone with a big garage willing to help out for cash in hand) in Cambridgeshire PE28 who will take on sorting my front axel?

Cheers

Mark

can you not just rig up a temp covering out of some plastic sheet ? - or get one of those cheap awning things

Hey Mark,

If you can get it back to Luton, I have actually brought a house with my other half after all the years of saving and so on with a driveway and access to the rear (nice when a plan comes together). Would need to rig up some sort of cover but you are welcome to come and use it. As for the bits we sold the 86 inch a while back but sure you could get the bits and fit them pretty quickly. Jai
