speaking to one of the missus *edit* friends*edit* hubbys recently - mentioned he had a couple redundant old series 3 parked up at his parents if i needed any bits.
got in touch about the doors and had a look - truck top and rear tub are in great nick , chassis is physically snapped ! and engine is siezed mind ....
my tub needs work - mainly cappings - this series has good nick galvo cappings - and i want a truck top .... any of it servicable for me ?
the other is fooked - with a running engine - it did have a good chassis but its rotted from sitting. - turned into swiss cheese when i gave it a tap !
probably no good to me - would be too good to be true

*edit* just re-read this - missed out a few key details like - i have a 1987 90. and that it wasnt infact my missus hubby but my missus friends hubby !
