I have been filling propane bottles up for a few years and know the safety issues before the lectures start.

The garages are becoming more keen and refusing service so I'm looking at fitting an auto gas filler to the outside with a pipe to a gas bottle within the car, therefore looking like its actually an LPG vehicle.

I bought the kit to do this for the brother-in-law some time ago off eBay, but I cannot find the necessary bits to do it now,

The thing I cannot get is the pipe, which will have an opposit thread BSP fitting to go to the bottle on one end, the other end being a copper pipe for the compression fitting to the filler box.

Any help ideas or pointer in the right direction would be much appreciated.

Cheers matey, theyre a bit short, and one ends is fine but the other end needs to be just peice of copper pipe.

Looks like a bit of plumbing is in order then.
One of the pigtails has a 1/4" male fitting.
Shouldn't be hard to find a 1/4" male tap connector and a length of copper pipe ...

... and a can of leak detector.

I was thinking about doing the same thing, no mains gas at our house. Got rid of the gas cooker in the end.
