Borrowed my lads car (lexus LS400 vroom vroom:D) while he is welding my disco. Went to start it, the steering lock was engaged under pressure, and broke the bloody jap crap key.
Blank keys are about on fleabay but no-one will cut them cos they fubar the machines, new key available from Lexus :eek::eek: how ffin much? "plus VAT sir"
"oh and half an hours labour to programme it sir at £skyrocket"
Total not short of what I paid for my disco, out of my pocket:(
Any advice or offers welcome:)

He doesn't like the tyres on there at the moment so it is all fun, speshully gettin out the disco into lexus in sport mode, traffik lites green foot down 1/4 mile tram lines WOOO HOOO almost as good as off roading. As long as no-one sees you;)

Try a Lexus independent rather than a main dealer ? Any Lexus forums ? You might also find the US is a good source of Lexus info and parts - even with airfreight they are way ahead of UK in keeping older Lexuses running simply because they have been doing it for longer

retrieve the broken bit and if it is an older lexus timpson shoe repairs can clone keys- also yellow pages
