Any ideas?

These two lights came on all of a sudden and I can't see any obvious faults apart from a little uneven wear on drivers side front disk. Anyone got any other ideas why they would have come on together? Side note they've gone off again for now but would like to sort the problem before it becomes a gremlin.

Brake light switch or gear lever position switch.

Also make sure you have 4 identical tyres and do the One Wheel Up Test too, so you can check the VCU is healthy.
